That is Elly Blue of Taking the Lane and Joe Biel of Cantankerous Titles. This photo is from an event put on by TRANSPORTland. This has to be the best idea for a bike race ever. 30+ miles, with obstacles and 100 pounds of “emergency supply” cargo. Brilliant!
A Visit to Dornbox Bicycles
Months ago, I visited Chris Dornbach, of Dornbox Bicycles, in his home frame shop in Gray, Maine. Chris builds bicycles, primarily road and mountain, out of steel using mostly TIG welding. It was great to shoot around his shop and even see a bit of frame construction as well. Click through the gallery below and be sure to visit Chris’s website. Day 4 of 15 *Lunch Update
I’m just sitting here eating my bialy and somebody keeps getting text messages with an annoying tone. I turn around and it’s been a real bird the whole time!!!
We needed a light weight extendable boom for our china ball lighting. Pool cleaning poles are incredibly light and will extend from 8′ to 16′. Next version will have internal 16/2 wiring, just to satisfy the bike nerd inside of me.
