For the last week and a half I’ve been working on a shoot in Maine. It has required a couple of fun car mount shots. I’ve always loved rigging cameras onto things, or occasionally onto people. What you see up there is a hood mount, with a RED camera, an Arri 200 watt Pocket Par and a 575 HMI. This truck was on top of a trailer being towed by another truck, which housed our Honda 2000 generator. This seems like a good reminder that there are huge differences between “film nerds” and “filmmaking nerds.”

Sorry for all the food photos lately! Tonight I made spinach & ricotta tortellini in pesto. Tortellini is the original reason I wanted to start making my own pasta but I hadn’t gotten to it until now. This might be the best thing I’ve ever cooked.
