Peter’s Schwinn

Peter from Port City Bikes let me use his Schwinn Sports Tourer for a few photos. Port City Bikes is fairly new, but great things are happening in that little shop. Check it out when you can!

Vintage Armstrong

Ever heard of Armstrong bicycles? I certainly hadn’t, but after shooting these in Portland I did some research. It turns out Armstrong was just another name for Raleigh low end three speeds. Nonetheless, I like it. If you like it too, there’s a his & her’s Maine.Craigslist posting right now.

Baby Blue in Portland

Bagwell is in town. We went on a pizza crawl and stumbled upon this Raleigh. Looks like another custom paint job because the head badge was the only indicator of the brand.

Lumotec Retro dynamo headlight, Acorn Boxy Rando bag, leather grips, half clips on the pedals, Brooks B17, stainless rack and polished fenders. Looks like somebody knows what’s up.

Blue Raleigh Revisited

I have noticed that the blue Raleigh that I posted about earlier this month is consistently parked in the same spot during the work day. I decided that this bike needed to be better photographed so I grabbed the SLR and took a few more shots.

I couldn’t decide which photo of the seat to include. They both have such different moods to them, I figured I would post them both and let you decide which one suits the bike best.
